Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI)

AMI days will be used if we have any extended time away from our building for all students, such as illness, snow days or lack of staff.  Students and teachers have in place a wide variety of technology to assist in instruction and learning.  If an AMI day is announced, it is important that students log into their Google Classroom on the Chromebook and join in on that day’s lessons.  All work assigned will be required to be completed for the student to be counted as in attendance for that day and to receive a grade.  When an AMI day is announced, it will be done on the radio, via text caster, and on the school Facebook pages.

Parents please remember to send Elementary students to school with items needed for outdoor recess!  Its cold outside but having outdoor recess lets students spread out and have fun at the same time.

“District COVID Notices” are on the Winston R-VI School District homepage.

Please, if your child is sick or not feeling well for any reason, do not send them to school, utilize distance learning.
