Woman Air-Lifted to Kansas City Hospital Following Wednesday Pursuit in Livingston County

Chillicothe Police say they had to perform life-saving measures after a vehicle pursuit Wednesday.

A press release from Chillicothe Police says authorities received a call concerning a woman in the 1000 block of Graves with active warrants around 4:45 Wednesday afternoon.

Police reportedly attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle fled from authorities and allegedly attempted to hit an officer.

The pursuit reportedly ended in the Ludlow area and authorities say the woman allegedly ingested drugs, including reported fentanyl.

The woman became non-responsive and authorities began CPR and administered NARCAN.

Police say the woman started to breathe again and they air-lifted her to a Kansas City hospital.

Authorities say they took a male into custody at the scene and later released him.

Police say they seized evidence at the scene and an investigation is ongoing.
