Woman Arrested in Buchanan County Listed as Out-of-state Fugitive

The Missouri Highway Patrol arrested a woman in Buchanan County on four felonies.

The arrest report says 29-year-old Athena R. Tinsley of Independence was arrested at 9:40 am.

Arresting charges include felony tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree, misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit device, felony possession of stolen property, felony fugitive from out of state, and felony possession of controlled substance – marijuana.

She is being held in the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center without bond.

At the same time, the Patrol arrested 37-year-old Marshfield resident, Kurtis J. Farrow on charges of felony tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree, misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit device, felony possession of stolen property, felony warrant parole violation, and felony possession of controlled substance – marijuana.

He is also being held in Buchanan County without bond.
