Woman Injured in Andrew County after Crashing into Tractor-Trailer

A woman was injured in Andrew County after she crashed into a tractor-trailer.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports the accident at 3:15 pm Thursday as the tractor-trailer driven by 22-year-old Triston M. McKay of New Market, Iowa, was stopped for a school bus on US-71 Highway six miles north of Savannah.
An SUV driven by 36-year-old Leslie D. Wilmes of Ravenwood came up behind the trailer and failed to avoid crashing into it.
Wilmes suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mosaic Hospital in St. Joseph.
