Woman Injured in Andrew County after Vehicle Overturns

A woman was injured in Andrew County in a single-vehicle accident.
A report from the Missouri Highway Patrol says 69-year-old Linda J. Whittington of Savannah was driving north on County Road 423.
At 2:10 pm Thursday, she failed to yield at the T-intersection of County Road 426 and continued north through the intersection before traveling off the roadway.
The vehicle struck an embankment and overturned onto its driver’s side.
Whittington was wearing a seatbelt and suffered a minor injury. She was taken by Andrew County Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care.
