Woman Serious Injured in Burning Vehicle

A woman was seriously injured in a burning vehicle after being rear-ended by a semi-trailer.

The unnamed woman is described as being in her thirties. As she waited on Mason Road in St. Joseph to make a turn onto South 14th street, a semi hit her vehicle sending her out into traffic.

Her vehicle was struck nearly head-on by another vehicle and flames came from the rear of the vehicle.

She is in serious condition with burns.
