Woman Seriously Injured in Atchison County Accident

A woman was seriously injured in an accident in Atchison County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 71-year-old Rita A. Sutton of Kadoka, South Dakota was injured at 4:45 pm when she failed to yield to a pickup truck being driven by 26-year-old Bryce A. Roecker of Fairfax. Roecker had been turning east onto US-136 at I-29 in Rock Port.

Sutton was transported to Nemaha County Hospital.
