Wood Heights, Missouri Man Injured in Clay County Crash This Morning

A Wood Heights, Missouri man suffered injuries in a Clay County crash this morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 5:55 this morning on southbound I-35, at mile marker 18.8, as 27-year-old Wood Heights, Missouri resident Aaron N. Smith struck another southbound vehicle driven by 33-year-old Lawson resident Jayme R. Barker.

After impact, Smith’s Nissan Rouge struck a second southbound vehicle driven by 26-year-old Lawson resident Brittany Hachman.

Smith suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Liberty Hospital.
