Work-From-Home Scam Unveiled by USPS and FBI

(MISSOURINET) –  Seventeen domain names with ties to work-from-home scams have been seized and shut down by the U-S Postal Service and the F-B-I. Kai Pickens is the Acting Inspector in Charge with the U-S Postal Service’s St. Louis field office. She says one company, identified as Local-Post-dash-U-S-dot-com, was recruiting and hiring unwitting persons to receive and reship packages that contained merchandise purchased with stolen credit card information:

Investigators found multiple links suggesting the scammers were based in Russia.
