Worth County FFA Students Tour Idaho Agriculture

GRANT CITY, MO  – Six Worth County FFA members toured the State of Idaho this week to view different aspects of the state’s agriculture.  During the tour the students visited the Idaho State Capitol and learned about the importance of irrigation and water management in Idaho agriculture.

The tour also included Western Trailers where the FFA members saw the manufacturing process of agricultural trailers from start to finish. The final tour was to CS Beef packers to see the steps in the beef kill, fabrication, and packaging operation, which processes over 1,600 head of cattle a day.
