Worth County School Receives Community Improvement Grant Through Bayer Fund
The Worth County School District has received a $2,500 donation sponsored by the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program through the Bayer Fund. The district plans to direct the money to the Worth School School’s Nutrition Program and use the money to help needy families’ food service accounts.
The America’s Farmers Grow Communities Program partners with farmers to provide nonprofit organization with help to strengthen their local communities. Each August, farmers can direct a $2,500 donation to a local eligible nonprofit of their choice.
Les New was chosen to make a selection of the donation.
The Bayer Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the communities where Bayer customers and employees live and work by providing funding for food and nutrition, education and community development projects.
