Wyoming Pair Injured in Andrew County Crash Thursday

Two Wyoming residents suffered injuries in an Andrew County crash Thursday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 12:38 Thursday afternoon on I-29, five miles north of Saint Joseph, as a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Cheyenne, Wyoming resident Patsey L. Netta drove southbound.

Troopers say Netta went off the east side of the road and into the median.

Netta’s vehicle struck an embankment before ultimately coming to a rest.

Netta suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Mosaic Life Care.

A passenger in the vehicle, 65-year-old Cheyenne, Wyoming resident Paul R. Netta, suffered minor injuries and also sought treatment at Mosaic.

Authorities say both involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
