Fantastic young man who is explosive in the run and pass game. As a freshman he led our team in rushing, passing, scoring and with his leadership qualities as well. 1st Team ALL GRC – APB

—Hayden Ecker, Junior – Running Back
1384 yards rushing – 200 yards receiving and 32 total TD’s on the season. Hayden was first team all state in 2020, he did miss 2 games this season with injuries which impacted his stats. 2 time Team Captain, great person.

 

NORTH PLATTE
–Riley Hyde, Senior, Offensive Tackle, Defensive Tackle, and End.
Riley is beyond a great leader, he played out an incredibly tough season to the end, and with full effort. All the while having a dislocated right shoulder, and a torn left pectoral muscle. He lost 60 pounds 2 years ago to improve his abilities, and be able to move better, and he has kept it off, and continued to improve. He is President of the Stuco, and a 3 sport athlete. He was honored with HM nods from his fellow KCI coaches on both sides of the ball. 45 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 12 yards rushing offensively.

 

PATTONSBURG

–Brody Langfitt, Junior, WR/Running Back. Linebacker, KR Specialist
Receptions: 49 for 459 yard. 19 Total Touchdowns. He also rushed for 49 attempts for 535 Yards. Brody also returned 3 Kick off returns for Touchdowns.
Defensively, 72 Tackles, 4 Interceptions, 2 Forced Fumbles.
Brody was also selected to the First Team ALL GRC CONFERENCE AND WAS SELECTED AS SECOND TEAM Linebacker as well
I believe that he is the best pure athlete in the entire state of Missouri 8-Man Football, and is just a junior, and strongly believe that he should be worthy of this Post-season award.

 

 

PLATTSBURG

—Isaiah Howard, Sophomore, Quarterback
Passing Stats: 70/164 for 908 yards in 5.25 games played. Averaged 173 yards passing per game. Threw 10 touchdowns.
KCI All-Conference Quarterback Honorable Mention
Isaiah is a phenomenal talent with the ability to make plays through the air and with his feet. 2 way starter and voted as a team captain.

—Nathan Bash, Senior,Linebacker
84 Unassisted Tackles, 65 Assisted Tackles, 149 Total Tackles. Averaged 15 tackles per game. 19 tackles for loss. 1 forced fumble, 4 recoveries. 2 Sacks.
KCI All-Conference Linebacker 2nd Team
Nathan is one of the best block destruct and pursuit football players. Understands the game of football extremely well. 2 way starter and a team captain.

 

POLO

–Andrew Stone- Senior- #54- 5’9”, 193 lbs
4 year starter on the Offensive Line (2 for me). 1st Team GRC -OL (21), Hon. Mention GRC – OL (20), and 2nd Team DL (21), 4 year Academic All GRC, All District – OL (20). Andrew was the best Offensive Lineman on a team that was still playing for a conference title in week 8. We were able to generate 3,400+ yards of offense this year and were extremely competitive every game. Beyond football, Andrew is our Student Body President, in NHS, an FFA Officer, and a Sectional Champion wrestler and is worthy of any honor that might come his way.

–Mason Chapman- Senior #1 – 6’, 182 lbs
3 year starter at LB (2 for me). 1st Team GRC – LB (21), Hon. Mention GRC -LB (20), 2nd Team GRC – RB (21), All District LB (20). Mason is our best athlete on the field. He had 38 unassisted/82 assisted, 4 TFL, 4 sacks, and 1 int at linebacker. On offense he finished the year with 1068 yds on 101 carries for a 10.57 ave. with 10 TD’s. He is very physical and has great speed.

 

SAVANNAH

Great season. 52 solo tackles, 58 asst’s, 110 total tackles led our team. 4 Int’s.

850 yds average 7.5 yds a carry 111 yds a game rushing in only 8 games (missed first three for basic training) 13 rushing TD’s. Best running back we have. 1st team All KCI Running Back 2nd team All KCI DE

–Trent Taylor WR SR #21 (6’1” 190)
4 year starter at WP. 475 yds receiving, Avg 18 yds a catch. Lines up in the backfield in some sets and has accumulated 683 yds rushing Avg 5 yds a carry. Is our Returner and has 536 yds of return yards. All together Trents All purpose yards 1,694 yds 156 yds per game. Leads team in scoring with 8 rushing TD, 6 receiving TD, and 2 returned TD. By far the best all around Football Players at West Platte. 1st team All KCI as a WR and a DB

–Lamar Henderson DT SR #61 ( 6’3” 245)
Three year starter WP 2nd leading tackler on the team with 53 tackles, 7 sacks, 17 tackles for losses, 3 caused fumbles, a fumble recovery for 16 yds, a tackle for a safety, and several QB hurries. He is a load and our defense revolves around him. 1st team Unanimous All KCI DT and Unanimous Offensive Tackle
