Area Track Teams Open Track Competition At NW Missouri High School Track Invitational

Hughes Fieldhouse Hosted Saturday’s Northwest Missouri High School Invitational

South Harrison’s Lilly Wilson won two gold medals at the Northwest Missouri State Indoor Meet held Saturday at Hughes Fieldhouse in Maryville. Wilson claimed the 60m and the 200m. Abbey Henry of South Harrison placed 3rd in the Long Jump and was 4th in the 60m and 200m. Plattsburg’s Letecia Howard was 3rd in the 400m. Plattsburg was also 5th in the 4 x 200. Mount Ayr’s Aubree Shields placed 2nd in the High Jump. Maryville’s Ella Schulte was 4th in the 60 Hurdles. Grace Kelly of Princeton placed 5th in the Triple Jump. South Harrison tied for 6th among girls team competing with 36 points.

Maryville’s boys were 4th with 49 points. Keaton Stone was 2nd in the Long Jump and the Triple Jump. Wyatt Garner placed 4th in the Long Jump. Bradley Deering was 4th in the 1600. Kort Watkins placed 6th in the Shot Put. Connor Blackford was 6th in the 800m. Maryville was 4th in the Distance Medley. Princeton placed 6th with 41 points. Talan Holt won the High Jump. Jaden Finney placed 5th. Holt was also 5th in the 200. Andrew Rhoades placed 1st in the 400m, was 2nd in the 200m, and 4th in the 60m. Mount Ayr placed 10th with 23 points. Ryce Reynolds won the 800 meters and placed 3rd in the 60m Hurdles.
