The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Football team season came to a close Saturday afternoon in Allendale, Michigan losing to Grand Valley State in the second round of the NCAA playoffs. John Coffey has the story.
The only other MIAA team still in the D2 playoffs, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, also lost Saturday. Defending national champion Ferris State eliminated the Gorillas 17-14.
