Bernard Named As Second Team All-American

Northwest Missouri State University guard and South Central Regional Player of the Year Diego Bernard received another postseason honor by being named to the Second Team D2CCA Men’s All-American Basketball Team. Diego Bernard averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and had 72 steals in the 2022-23 basketball season.

Sports Information Directors from NCAA Division II East Region schools and conferences selected the two All-Region teams. The process concludes with All-American selections announced in later this month. This is the second year the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association has sponsored the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball All-Region and All-American teams.
