Former Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Len Dawson Dies at 87

KANSAS CITY, MO – Former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Len Dawson has died at the age of 87.
The Dawson family announced his death in a statement which said Len loved Kansas City and no matter where his travels took him, he could not wait to return home.
Dawson led the Chiefs to the team’s first Super Bowl in 1967 and led them to a Super Bowl victory in 1970. He was named the most valuable player of Super Bowl 4. Dawson retired in 1976 at age 41. After football he was a sports broadcaster in Kansas City.
