MIAA Football Scheduling Still Closed for 2020

MIAA Commissioner Mike Racy told those attending participating in the MIAA Football Media Day that some passionate arguments were being made for both sides for a change to non-conference football scheduling and the current closed schedule being employed by the league. He says the presidents tabled the matter during the most recent discussion on the matter. So, the league kept its closed schedule for the 2020 football season.

The league used a blind draw to develop the 2020 football schedule. Northwest Missouri State opens at Fort Hays State to begin 2020. Missouri Western will be at Central Oklahoma. The two are scheduled to meet one another in Week 5 of the 2020 football season.
