-Ozark drew first blood after loading the bases in the 2nd inning but could only manage one run in the frame. The Mustangs responded with a game tying run in the 3rd when catcher JP Tighe scored on a wild pitch. In the 4th inning Terrance Spurlin hit a two-run home run to provide the Mustangs the final margin. Mustangs starting pitch Mack Stephenson went six innings allowing just one run on six hits to go with five strike outs.
