-Clarinda scored twice in the first inning, and held a 2-1 lead going into the bottom of the 7th when St. Joe exploded for a four run frame to grab a 5-2 advantage. The A’s made it interesting late with a two-run 9th to get back to within one and had both the tying and go-ahead runs in scoring position

Chillicothe Mudcats 5
Sedalia Bombers 4
-The Mudcats got out to the early lead with a single run in the 2nd, only to see Sedalia respond with back-to-back one run frames in the 3rd and 4th. Chillicothe would get a pair of runs in the 6th and then plated two more in the 8th to take control, but Sedalia made things interesting with a run in the 8th and one more in the 9th. The bombers had the tying run at 3rd base in the final innings but couldn’t get that run across.

Joplin Outlaws 1
-Carroll broke open a 1-1 game in the 8th inning when they got a solo home run, an RBI double and a two-run double to take control of the game.
