Mo West Women Set To Face Ft. Hays For Regional Title

The Missouri Western women are one step away from the Elite 8, but standing in their way is the region’s top seed and tournament host Fort Hays State.

The #4 nationally-ranked Tigers swept the Griffons during the regular season, beating the Griffons74-61 on January 15 then topping Missouri Western 78-69 in overtime February 23 in Hays.

Western punched their ticket into the regional finals with a 72-59 Saturday over #6 seed Nebraska-Kearney, who had also swept the Griffons during the regular season.

Tip-Off at Gross Memorial Coliseum is set for 7 P.M.
