MU Announces Third Top 25 Recruiting Class In Last 4 Years

University of Missouri football added 20 signees and inking a third Top 25 recruiting class in the past four years on the first day of the early signing period for college football.

The class includes 9 offensive players, 9 defensive players, and 2 athletes.  The class represents 9 states. 19 players are high-school signees while one – OL Jayven Richardson – is a junior-college transfer. Richardson is ranked as one of the top three junior college players on the offensive line in this cycle.

Consensus five-star prospect Williams Nwaneri is the top-ranked player in the state of Missouri and ranks as one of the top five players nationally in the 2023 class. He is the fifth five-star prospect signed by the Tigers and the second in the past three years with WR Luther Burden II.

The class, which a five-recruit and 11 four-star prospects, was rated as No. 23 by 247Sports, On3.com and Rivals while ranking No. 24 by ESPN.com. The 11 four-star players in the most by MU in a single class.

Mizzou kept five signees from the state of Missouri home, while also signing five from the state of Florida. MU signed three players from Arkansas, including top-ranked wideout Courtney Crutchfield.

Seven of the signees – QB Aidan Glover, LB Brian Huff, OL Talan Chandler, OL Ryan Jostes, OL Caleb Pyfrom, DB Cameron Keys and Richardson – will be midyear enrollees.
