North Division Win MINK All-Star Game

Despite falling behind early, the North Division was able to come away with a 5-3 victory Thursday in the MINK League All-Sstar game.
The South scored two runs in the second inning followed by another run in the bottom of the third on a Carter Mize (Jeff City) solo home run to jump out to a 3-0 lead.
The lead was short lived however, as the North All-Stars came storming back with a two-run home run in the top of the 4th inning from Des Moines’ Patrick Norton to cut the South’s lead to one.
Two innings later it was Chillicothe’s Josh Swinehart that put the North on top for good with a three run home run to left field that would also help earn him the game’s MVP honors.
