NWMSU Football 1st in Media Preseason Poll, 2nd in Coaches’ Poll

The Northwest Missouri State University football team is picked by the media to be the top team in the MIAA this year, but Fort Hays State’s Tigers are the pick in the coaches’ preseason poll. Fort Hays State had 114 points and obtained six first-place votes. Northwest Missouri State was second in the coaches’ preseason poll with five first-place votes and 112 points overall. Missouri Western is 7th in the football preseason coaches’ poll.

Northwest Missouri State at 32 first place votes in the media poll. Fort Hays State had 7. Missouri Western is also picked for 7th place in the MIAA football preseason media poll.
