Bob Grantham, Jr.

Bob Grantham, Jr., 94, Ravenwood, MO (formerly of Kansas City, MO) passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at a Stanberry, MO nursing home.

He was born on February 3, 1926 in Alanthus Grove, Missouri the son of Robert Lowery and Grace (Gabbert) Grantham.

On December 21, 1947, he married Mary Lou Spencer in St. Joseph, Missouri. She preceded him in death.

Bob served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Stanberry United Methodist Church and enjoyed travelling, gardening, card parties, and country music shows.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Saundra Grantham and two sisters, Roberta Terrel and Betty Sager.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Connie (John) Robertson, Lee’s Summit, MO and Deborah Grantham, Mission, KS; sons, Rick Grantham, Lee’s Summit, MO and Randie (Crystal) Grantham, Edmund, OK, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Private Family Services will be held at the Stanberry United Methodist Church, Stanberry, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Stanberry, MO. Private Burial with Military Rites will follow. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 6 at Roberson Funeral Home, Stanberry, MO where friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Friday.
