Bonnie Sue Neel

Bonnie Sue Neel, age 69, was born July 13, 1951 in St. Joseph, Missouri the daughter of Charles and Margarette (Arnett) Thomas and passed away January 22, 2021.

On May 28, 1971, Bonnie and Roger Neel were united in marriage.  To this union two children were born.  Bonnie, or “Mema” as she was later named by her family, worked at worked at Quail Run and Sunset Nursing Homes for many years.  She loved her dogs and the many other animals on the family farm.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mema is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Peggy Bradford and Patrica Weese; and brother, Michael Thomas.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Roger Neel; two children, Jeromy (Christina) Neel and Jamaka (Daniel) Quinn; brother, Daniel Thomas; four grandchildren, Dakota, Shianne, Tesa, & Kala; three great-grandchildren, Jace, Shay’Lynn, and Bentley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Mt.
