Carol Joyce May

Carol Joyce May, 66, Mercer, MO passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at her home.

She was born on June 14, 1955, in Mercer, Missouri the daughter of Albert and Jo Anna (Clark) Stark.

Carol attended Mercer school and loved her dog and going dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Allen May; brothers, Forrest, Albert, James, and Daniel Stark and sisters, Mary Hines and Goldie Thurnau.

Carol is survived by her son, Michael (Melissa) Carter; grandchildren, Jesse, Sabreena, Ashlee, and Spencer Carter; six great grandchildren; brothers, Donnie (June) Stark, Jess (fiancé, Becky Renner) Stark, Dave Stark; sisters, Reta Stark, Debbie (fiancé, Keith Statereau) Stark, Terry (Nash) Cox, Loretta (Martin) Tjarks, and many nieces and nephews.

Carol has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO.

The Family will hold a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27 at the Mercer Community Building, Mercer, MO. Inurnment will be held at a later date. There is no scheduled family visitation. Online condolences may be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com
