Clifford T. Stark

Clifford T. Stark, 91, of Mercer, MO passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at a Kansas City, Missouri hospital.

Clifford was born August 12, 1929 in Mercer County the son of Archie Sylvester and Olivia Esther (Wilder) Stark.

He graduated from Mercer High School in the class of 1947. He married Reta Faye in 1980.   She survives of the home.

Clifford retired from farming in 2014 and raised cattle most of his life. He enjoyed working outdoors, coon hunting and livestock auctions. He also enjoyed taking with family and friends about the good old days and remembering the good times.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Mary Holt, Ruth Stark, Opal Little and Rosa Beavers.

Survivors in addition to his wife of 40 years, Reta, are his brother, Ira (Joyce) Stark, Des Moines, IA; sisters, Darlene Huett and Shirley Talton both of Des Moines, IA and nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services and Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18 at Evergreen Cemetery, Lineville, IA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Roberson Funeral Home, Lineville, IA where social distancing and masks are recommended.
