1932-2021

Stewartsville, Missouri…..Connie Lou Watson, age 89, was born October 15, 1932 in Sterling, Colorado and passed away December 31, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Connie graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph, where she participated in multiple different sports. On December 31, 1952, Connie and Lloyd “Buck” Watson were united in marriage in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. To this union two daughters were born. She was an avid Jayhawks fan and loved to read and play cards.  Connie was a lifelong member of Culbertson United Methodist Church. She always had a smile on her face and kindness in her heart. Connie wanted everyone to know she loved all the time she spent with her grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Buck.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Ann (Doug) Delaney, King City, and Lynda (Chris) Noel, Stewartsville; sister, Joan (Henry) Ammerman, Lees Summit, three grandchildren, Amanda (Bob) Maudlin, Ashley (Josh) Veale, TC (Melissa) Noel; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Turner Family Funeral Home of Stewartsville with burial following at Stewartsville Cemetery.  Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Memorial Contributions:  Freudenthal Hospice.  Online condolences:  www.turnerfamilyfuneral.com
