Dale J. Reitzler – age 78 of Polo, Missouri passed away Tuesday morning, October 10, 2023, at Valley Manor and Rehab Center in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Dale was born on June 13, 1945, the son of John Nicholas and Anna Beatrice (Crider) Reitzler in Grinnell, IA. Dale married Karen Sieck on August 14th, 1965, in Grinnell, IA.  He attended California State Polytechnic University where he obtained a BS in Automation. Dale served his country as a member of the United States Army in Vietnam. He retired in 2012 as a consultant with Data Systems. He was a member of the Prairie Ridge Church, American Legion, VFW, and Gideons International. Dale was very passionate about Gideons International, helping to spread Christianity throughout the world.  He loved spending quality time with his grandchildren. Dale will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his Parents. He is survived by his wife Karen (Sieck) Reitzler of Polo, MO; daughter, Michelle Newman (Steve) of Polo, MO; grandchildren, Colton, Carter, and Tucker Newman; and siblings, Maynard Reitzler (Nancy) of Yucaipa, CA, Frank Reitzler (Teresa) of Grinnell, IA, Merle Reitzler (Audrey) of Malcom, IA, and Mary Havill (Jim) of New Liberty, IA.; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The Gideons International in care of the funeral home.
