Daniel Adams Baker, age 7, loving son of John and Renee Baker went home to be with the LORD on April 14, 2022.

Daniel was born on the family farm on February 23, 2015.  He was the youngest of 10 children.

Daniel lived life differently from most but had many joys in his life.  Daniel had such a capacity to love; He enjoyed snuggling with a blanket by his favorite window, climbing up on laps for story and songs, listening to piano and many types of music, playing pat-a-cake and giving “fives”.

His smile would light up your world and his hugs were unforgettable.

He is survived by his mom and dad (John and Renee Baker); nine siblings, “Team Daniel” – James, Nathan, John, Rebekah, Benjamin, Joseph, Paul, Grace and David; paternal grandparents, Larry and Ronnah Baker, Brenda Baker; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Judy Sweiger; and a host of family and friends.

When thinking of Daniel one may recall a scripture that was spoken often to him:

“The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Graveside services will be Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Bethel Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., at Hopewell Baptist Church.
