Cameron, Missouri….David Carl Moldenhauer, 82, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.  He was born January 22, 1942, in Orlando, Florida, to Leopold Otto and Alma Olga (Weist) Moldenhauer.  

David worked as a contractor for residential construction until his retirement. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall of Cameron and was a man of strong faith. He always looked forward to telling the joke of the day or riddle at Dino’s Diner in Cameron. David was a country boy at heart who enjoyed being outside, especially fishing, which was his favorite pastime.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Michael Moldenhauer and Leopold Otto Moldenhauer Jr; sisters, Beth Gee and Ruth Friedenberg.

Survivors include his daughter, Sandy Moldenhauer; brothers, Paul, John, and Theodore “Ted” Moldenhauer; sister, Joan Moldenhauer; grandson, Carl Moldenhauer; and a host of family and friends.

Cremation under the direction of Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville.

A Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p. m. Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness (920 N. Pine St. Cameron, Mo. 64429).
