Dennis Sherman Pickering – age 59 and lifelong Braymer, MO area resident passed away Monday afternoon, September 20th, 2021 at his home in Braymer.  Dennis was born on August 3rd, 1962 the son of Donnie and Mary (Vickers) Pickering in Richmond.  He was a 1981 graduate of Braymer High School.  Dennis was a farmer and was passionate about raising cattle, especially black angus.  He was a hard worker.  Dennis enjoyed camping, fishing, deer and coon hunting.  He also liked to joke around and spend time with family.  He will be dearly missed.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Becky Bratcher.  Survivors include children, Pamela Myers of St. Joseph, Dennis (Sandra) Pickering of Braymer, and McKenzie (Dallas) Stacy of Braymer; Danny Pickering of Cameron, Dianna Fick of Braymer, Donna Wright of Louisiana, Jody (Brian) York of Blue Springs; grandchildren, Janissa, Keegan, LeAnn, Carson, Sophia, Paitynn, Zoey, Olivia, Dallas Gage and James; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation in care of the funeral home. A Celebration of Life gathering, and BBQ will be held from 3 to 6 PM, Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 at Tait Memorial Park in Braymer.
