Cameron, MO- Donald Wayne Heldenbrand, 91, of Cameron, passed away April 30, 2022. Donald was
born August 22, 1930, to Jesse and Ada (Wilkinson) Heldenbrand in Cameron, MO.
Donald was a 1948 graduate of Cameron High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He
married Mary Lou Hughes June 26, 1959. They were married 62 years. Donald raised cattle, hogs, and
row crops on their farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Lou; brother and sister-in-law Orval and Dortha
Heldenbrand; sister, Betty Heldenbrand; niece, Angela Heldenbrand.
Donald is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Jane Heldenbrand; nephews, Steve and
Debra Heldenbrand, Brian and Amy Heldenbrand, Lonnie and Sharon Heldenbrand, Stan and Pamela
Heldenbrand; niece Deanna and Dennis McCurdy; brother-in-law James Hughes.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday May 6, 2022, at Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron, MO.
Visitation 1:00 to 1:45 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home. Memorial fund to Three Rivers Hospice.
