Donna J. McFadden

Donna J. McFadden, 79, St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023.

She was born Aug. 11, 1944, in St. Joseph, to Roy and Florence (Bechtold) Brace.

Donna married Clifford L. McFadden Jr. on Jan. 28, 1960. He survives of the home.

Donna was a longtime member of Word of Life Church. Donna and Cliff taught young married Sunday School for many years, and Donna also led a young women’s Bible Study and continued spiritual mentoring to young women.

She was a member of the Flower Society of St. Joseph, PEO Chapter FL, Bible Study Group Koinonia; the former Heartland Health Auxiliary, bridge group, and the Beloved YaYa’s and many other organizations.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Anne; and brother, Frank.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Cliff; daughter, Tammy Scott (Mark) of Country Club, Missouri; sons, Kip McFadden (Terry), of St. Joseph, and Michael McFadden (Amber), of Country Club; grandchildren, Tyler Scott (Jackie), Aaron Scott (Shelbi), Lee McFadden (Laura), Blake McFadden (Alexandra), Eli McFadden and Micah McFadden; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra, of Lancaster, California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kammerer and Jackie Young for all their love and care.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10:30 a.m. Friday, Word of Life Church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
