Donnie “Don” Brashar

Donnie Robert “Don” Brashar, 83, Trenton, MO passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at his home.

He was born on December 2, 1937 in Davenport, Iowa the son of Robert and Hallie Roberta (Pigg) Brashar and raised by his step-father, Harold Walters.

Don was a graduate of Princeton High School in 1958 and went on to serve in the United States Army where he was stationed in Fort Leonardwood, MO, Fort Sam Houston, TX, and Germany. He then worked for Trenton Foods for 27 years. Don lived his early life in Princeton before moving to Trenton in 1969. He also enjoyed treasure hunting with his metal detectors in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a best friend, Bill O’Banion.

Don is survived by his caretaker and friend, Sharon O’Banion.

Don has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO. There are no scheduled services. Inurnment will be held in Early Cemetery, Mercer, MO at a later date.
