Elizabeth Dianna Brittingham
Elizabeth Dianna Brittingham, 72, of Eagleville, Missouri, passed away January 1, 2022, in Arlington, TX.
She was born to Roger Fielding Porter and Laura Elizabeth Shields Porter in Pontiac, Michigan on August 30, 1949. The 2nd child of 8 children and the oldest daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Dianna was a graduate of Albany High School, class of 1968.
She married Charles Elvin Deen, Sr on October 13, 1967. To this union 3 children were born: Charles Elvin Deen, Jr, Deana Rae Deen James, Jeremy Wayne Deen. Charlie and Dianna later divorced on October 31, 1979.
On December 10, 1982, Dianna was united in marriage with Willard “Bill” Thomas Brittingham. He survives of the home.
Dianna worked most of her career at Hesse Inc in Kansas City, MO from 1984 to 2010. She retired from Hesse Inc after 26 years of faithful service. After retiring she moved from Kansas City, Missouri to Eagleville, Missouri.
After retirement, Dianna created and designed jewelry and opened “Eagle Rocks by Di”. She was very crafty and loved to create, doing wood projects, painting, and making crafts. She had quite the green thumb, growing her plants and flowers. Dianna was a fantastic cook and enjoyed cooking big meals for her family and friends.
Besides her spouse, she is also survived by her children, Charlie & Julie Deen (Liberty, Mo), Deana James (Liberty, Mo), Jeremy & Davina Deen (Arlington, Tx)
Grandchildren – Colton James, Danny James, Jaelyn Deen, Maya Deen
Brothers & Sisters – Roberta Owens, Margaret Byrom, Martha & John Shipley, Rodney & Donna Porter, Roger (Rhonda) Porter, James & Cheryl Porter, Gail & Chris Tennill. Nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Memorial Graveside Service and Inurnment: 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Grandview Cemetery, (Located at the corner of Hwy 136 & Rt. C) in Albany, MO. Everyone is invited to a dinner at the First Baptist Church in Albany following the graveside service.
