Evelyn JoAnn “Lyn” Bayne

Evelyn JoAnn “Lyn” Bayne, 69, Pattonsburg, MO passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at her home.

She was born on July 19, 1952 in Pattonsburg, Missouri the daughter of Delbert Russell and Lavena Crystal (Gardner) Lowrey.

On May 29, 1970, she was united in marriage to Charles “Butch” Bayne at Heath United Methodist Church by Porter Hopkins.

Lyn worked as a pharmacy technician at Corner Drug for 7 years and then went to work for Hy-Vee pharmacy in Bethany, MO. She was a member of the Heath United Methodist Church where she played piano for several years. She also served as secretary for the Benton Township. She loved flower gardening and was an avid Chiefs and NASCAR fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, William Martin Lowrey and Tommie Lowrey.

Lyn is survived by her husband, Butch, of the home; daughter, Jessica (David) Barnett, Hamilton, MO; grandchildren, Conde, Raymond, and GeAnna Barnett; sister, Janellda (Michael) Weber, Coffey, MO; brother, Bruce (Marilyn) Lowrey, Independence, MO and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11 at the United Methodist Church, Pattonsburg, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, MO. Burial will follow in Pattonsburg Memorial Gardens, Pattonsburg, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.
