81 year old Frankie D. Travis of  Columbia and formerly of Princeton passed away Monday.  In addition to his wife, Frankie is survived by his sons, Jeff (Cary) Travis, Mexico, MO, Tim (Cindy) Travis, Independence, MO, Todd Travis, St. Louis, MO and Brian (Mindy) Travis, Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Bridgette Travis, Oakland, CA, Ashten Robinson (Michael) Montgomery City, MO, Brandon Travis (Alisha) Independence, MO, Brett Travis, Independence, MO, Brianne Travis, Matthew Travis and Molly Travis all of Omaha, NE and one great grandchild, Amelia Travis, Independence, MO.

Frankie has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home in Princeton.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14 at Roberson Funeral Home in Princeton. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Coon Cemetery in Princeton. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
