Garland Beeson, 94, Princeton, MO passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his home.

He was born on October 8, 1926 in Cainsville, Missouri the son of John Roy and Lena (Banks) Beeson.

On June 11, 1950, he married Adene Louise Lovett in Cainsville, Missouri. During their marriage, they lived in Lineville, Mercer, and Princeton.

Garland was a graduate of Blythedale High School in 1946 and worked as a carpenter and farmer. He was a member of the Princeton Methodist Church which he also built. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, canoe trips, square dancing, bowling and just spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Darrel Roy Beeson; sister, Erdene Sandy; and brothers-in-law, Manly Baker, Bill Sandy, Gene Ehlers, and Gene White.
Garland is survived by his wife of 71 years, Adene Beeson, of the home; daughter, Cindy (Leland) Hawk, Cameron, MO; sons, Alan (Lynn) Beeson, Fulton, MO, Mark Beeson, Gallatin, MO, and Scott (Bobbi) Beeson, Swoyersville, PA; sisters, Norma Beeson, Cainsville, MO, Nancy Beeson, Denver, CO, and Marilyn Beeson White, Lamoni, IA; grandchildren, April (Vince) Wolf, Racheal (Damon) Singleton, Jennifer Oshel, Milton Beeson, Felicia Lewallen, Baily (Brandon) Smith, and Roy Beeson; ten great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 16 at the United Methodist Church, Princeton, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Blythedale, MO. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church.
