Gerald L. Eiberger
King City, MO: Gerald L. Eiberger, 88, King City, MO passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at a
Liberty, MO hospital.
He was born on March 13, 1933 to Balthas and Josephine (Meyer) Eiberger. He attended Red
Star Country School and served in the United States Army from April 1953 to March 1955. He
spent two years in Berlin, Germany with the 287 th M.P. Horse Platoon. He was a lifelong
member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ford City.
On August 27, 1960, he married Georgia Stoll. She survives of the home.
Gerald’s love of the land ran deep and he passed that love onto his family. He’d never ask
anyone to do a job that he himself wouldn’t do. His family was always his priority and being
Papa was his greatest joy. You’d never find him in the coffee shop but you could find him
enjoying a lively square dance, which he enjoyed for 31 years. He was a member of the
Maysville Wrangler Square Dance Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother and sister; brother, John and
Sister, Mary Ann Willis.
In addition to his wife, Gerald is survived by his children, Karen (Jody) Barker, Kansas City,
MO; David (Janna) Eiberger, Donald (Anna) Eiberger, Dale (Amy) Eiberger, Dean Eiberger, and
Daniel (Mallory) Eiberger all of King City, MO; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren,
Steven, Elizabeth, Ashton, Andrew, Marcia, Emily, Adam, Cynthia, Dallas, Danika, Daphne, Leah,
and Laney, Harper, Caden, Clara, Reese, Oliver, Ava, Leyton, Cole, and Calvin; brother, Bernard
(Carrie) and sister, Marjorie (Leo) Derks.
Private Family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ford City,
MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. There is no scheduled family
visitation. Burial with Military Rites will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Ford City, MO. In lieu of
flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and/or St. Patrick’s Cemetery
in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 153, King City, MO 64463. Online condolences may
