Cameron, Missouri- Steven Guy Ensign, 62, passed away peacefully, September 17, 2023. Guy was born June 4, 1961 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri to Carrol and Evelyn (Young) Ensign. He graduated from Cameron High School in 1979, where he was active in agriculture, wrestling, and football. He attended one year of college at MWSU to play football.

He is preceded by his parents; and the family that raised him, Kermit and Sue Ensign; 2 brothers, Lyle and Denny; and sister, Elizabeth.

Survivors: Nick Ensign (Addison Ford), Kansas City, Missouri, Kristi Ensign, Smithville, Missouri, and Megan (Austin) Cochran, Cameron, Missouri; 1 step-grandchild, Aislyn Cochran; 2 brothers, Bill (Carol) Ensign, Fairfield, California and Karl Ensign, Warsaw, Missouri.

Guy enjoyed life on the farm as well as hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being a dad and loved being involved in his kids’ lives.

Visitation: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM, Thursday evening, September 28, 2023 at Poland-Thompson Chapel.
