Jared Allen Boatwright
St. Joseph, MO: Jared Allen Boatwright, 20, St. Joseph, MO passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at a residence in St. Joseph, MO.
He was born on June 27, 2001 in St. Joseph, Missouri the son of Jerald Boatwright and Dana Summers.
Jared enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also loved hunting, playing video games and binge-watching Harry Potter and Downton Abbey with his best friend in life, his grandma Matilda “Tillie” Davis. Jared and his mother and sister shared a special connection by singing “Kiss an Angel Good morning” every day.
Jared worked in the food production industry in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Tillie Davis and lifelong friend Joe Campbell.
In addition to his parents Jared is survived by his grandparents, Jim Davis, King City, MO and Jerry and Doretha Boatwright, Stanberry, MO; sister, Tommi Lynn Stanton, Kansas City, MO; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 17 at Roberson Funeral Home, Stanberry, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Jerad will be cremated after the service and inurnment will be at a later date.
