Jeremy David “JD” Johnson

Jeremy David “JD” Johnson, age 37 of Cowgill, MO, passed away Wednesday morning, October 28, 2020.  JD was born in Warrensburg, MO, the son of Alan and Deborah (Harness) Johnson.   JD obtained a Criminal Justice Degree from Vatterott College.  On December 26, 2018, he married Megan Sanders in Kansas City, MO.  JD worked as a construction laborer.  His children held a special place in JD’s heart.  He enjoyed tattoos and the stories they told.  He was Batman! JD will be dearly missed.

JD was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Betty and Excil Johnson and maternal grandparents, Bea and Ancil Harness.  Those left to morn his passing include: wife, Megan; children: Kaelynn Marie, Draven Ancil, Laila Mai, Gracelynn, Isaac Benjamin, Jacoby Lamar; mother, Deborah Johnson of St. Joseph, MO; siblings: Alana (Michael) Kimberly of the United Kingdom, Heather (Steve) Moore of Utah, Eric Johnson of St. Joseph, MO; Amber “Petie” (Scott) Caselman of Cameron, MO; Bobby Johnson of Cameron, MO; Aron (Christina) Johnson of Shawnee, KS; Sara (Michael) Thomsen of St. Joseph, MO; Jeffrey Johnson of St. Joseph, MO and LoriAnn (Derrick) Baird of St. Joseph, MO. Other extended family also survives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Stith Funeral Home or the family, in care of Megan Johnson to help with final expenses.
