John Henry Dibben Jr., 78 of Albany, Missouri, passed away February 14, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

John was born June 25, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of John Henry and Nellie Louise (Massey) Dibben.

John was united in marriage to Peggy Schneckloth July 15, 2000. She survives of the home.

He is also survived by his children, Cerissa Welsh, Dennis Welsh of Crocker, MO; Misty Steinbach, Plato, MO; Edgel (Amanda) Dibben, Niangua, MO; Clyde (Shelly) Welsh, Wessington Springs, SD; adopted daughters, Bendi and Denice, Albany; sister, Virginia (Lee) Stapleton, Douglas, GA; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and a brother in heart, Terry Forbis, Albany.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Collin, several brothers and sisters.

John served his country in the United States Air Force for four years.

John and Peggy moved to Albany in 2019. John owned and operated Albany Woodworking. He was actively involved in the community as a member of the Albany United Methodist Church and served as secretary for Albany Main Street.
