Jonathan J Farrell Stoor – age 18 of Gallatin, Missouri passed away Thursday morning, August 4th, 2022, at Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri. Jonathan was born on May 13, 2004, the son of David Wayne and Lynda (Morris) Stoor in Phoenix, AZ. He grew up in Soda Springs, ID before moving to Independence, MO and then Gallatin, MO in 2017. He was currently a welder for Colony Custom Metals. Jonathan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gallatin Ward.  Jonathan enjoyed camping, the outdoors, sports, music and motorcycles, particularly dirt bikes. Jonathan was a fan of John Wayne, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, folk music, and the Andy Griffith show. He was a light to everyone, and would brighten up a room the minute he would walk in. Jonathan was an old soul and a huge example of good and influenced everyone for the better.  He would always stand up for what he believed. Jonathan genuinely cared for and loved everyone one; he was not judgmental in anyway. His girlfriend, Kelsey Longmore was very important to him and was the love of his life. Jon was very musically gifted, playing percussion with the Gallatin Band and drum line for 2 years.  He played the piano, guitar, ukulele, violin and mandolin and loved creating his own music and skateboarding with his friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Farrell Larain Stoor, maternal grandfather, Elliott J Morris, uncle, Steven Morris, and uncle, Dee Johnson. He is survived by: his girlfriend, Kelsey Virginia Longmore; his parents of Gallatin, MO and Lynda Morris Stoor of Gallatin, MO; siblings, Rikki Lynn Drotar (Rafael) of Gallatin, MO, Benjamin David Stoor (Danielle) of Gallatin, MO, Joshua Paul Stoor (Patricia) of Phoenix, AZ, Jacob Joseph Stoor of Dallas, TX, Adam Mathias Stoor (Arrianne) of Lenexa, KS, and Katie Johanna Stoor of Dallas, TX; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Nelson Stoor of Soda Springs, ID, and maternal grandmother, Shirley Joyce Morris of Ogden, UT; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family to help with expenses. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 11, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gallatin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM the evening prior at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial will follow the services at Hillcrest Cemetery, Gallatin.
