Martinsville, MO: Larry Ted Starmer of Martinsville, MO passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at the age of 77 years, 3 months, and 28 days.
Larry was born on December 9, 1942 near Martinsville, Missouri to Ray L. and Kathleen (Woollums) Starmer.
On February 14, 1964, he married Dixie Burton. To this union three children were born: Lesa (Paul) Gard, Steve (Debbie) Starmer, and Mark (Tina) Starmer.
He loved his life on the farm but when things got rough in the 80’s, he went to work for the City of Bethany. He worked for the street department for 18 years and at the age of 60 retired back to the farm he loved. He like to hunt and fish and tell stories to his kids and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmie Starmer; grandson, Clinton Starmer, and his in-laws, Edwin and Inez Burton.
Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years and his three children; eight grandchildren, Angela Compton (Daniel), Pamela King (Chad), Tyler Starmer (Kyla), Wyatt Starmer (Tessa), Jacob Starmer, Emily Starmer, Casey Starmer, and Courtney Starmer; four great grandchildren, Grant King, Ellee and Avery Krenz and Stella Starmer; two sisters-in-law, Viola Starmer and Sharon Clark and brother-in-law, Dewayne Clark as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was very proud of his family. Each child, grandchild, and great grandchild were special to him in their own way.

Private Family Graveside Services and Burial will be held in Koger Cemetery, Denver, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
