Leslie Eudean Parsons
Leslie Eudean Parsons, son of Lorraine and Margaret (Crawford) Parsons was born on February 21, 1939 in Decatur County, Iowa and departed this life October 29, 2020.
He attended elementary in a one room school house in Lindley Township and graduated from Princeton High School in 1957.
On October 8, 1960, he married Geneva Ruth (Putnam) Parsons. She survives of the home. They have four children; Ronnie (companion, Shelly Fossenkemper) Parsons, Cainsville, MO, Donnie (Sheri) Parsons, Princeton, MO; daughters, Debbie (Doug) Herrold, Nixa, MO, Jill (Tracy) Nelson, Lee’s Summit, MO; seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Kim) Parsons, Brandon (Kelci) Parsons, Spencer (Leslie) Parsons, Wesley (Arial) Parsons, Christopher Parsons, Tyler (Brittany) Herrold, Nathan (Nicole) Herrold; and twelve great grandchildren, Sophia, Madilynn, Dakota, Emerson, Sawyer, Luke, Wyatt, Caleb, Savannah, Keiton, Maddox, and one on the way, Hayes.
Eudean was a lifelong farmer until his retirement in 2014. He was a member of the Bethel Church and served on the Bethel Cemetery Board along with various other county boards and the Lindley Township Board.
He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed spending time with his family, riding 4-wheelers, and watching Gunsmoke!
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Melody Parsons, and triplet great grandchildren, Blakely, Henry, and Parker Parsons.
Eudean has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO.
Graveside Memorial Service and Inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14 in Bethel Cemetery, Cainsville, MO. Social distancing and masks are recommended.
