M. Phyllis Wright
1923 – 2023

Cameron, MO- Margaret Phyllis Wright, 81, of Cameron, was called home to be with her Lord and
Savior, Sunday, February 19, 2023.
Phyllis was born May 14, 1941, in Mirable, Missouri, to Albert L. and Bernice (McNary) Holman. On
May 21, 1961, she married Gerald C. Wright, of Albany, Mo., at Hamilton Baptist Church.
Phyllis worked at Unity Village in Jackson County MO. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lee’s
Summit, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband of 58 years, Gerald.
Phyllis is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Karolyn and Tony Brashears, of Cameron; nephew
Michael Brennan and wife Becky, St. Joseph, MO; great nephews, Aaron, Andrew, Justin and Kaelin; 7
great-great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 Pm, Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron,
MO. Visitation, 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial, Grandview Cemetery, Albany, MO.
