49 year old Martin Alan Zimmerman of Stewartsville peacefully left this earth surrounded by family in his home on Sunday after a courageous fight against cancer. He is survived by his wife Joni; children, Tyler Zimmerman, Taylor (Billy) Wendt, Skyler Zimmerman, and Ty (Erika) Friend; parents, Harold and Lila Zimmerman, in-laws John and Kay Dunham, sister, Sherri (Bruce) Bird; sister-in-law, Melanie Oliphant, and nephew Logan Oliphant.

Funeral Services for 49 year old Martin Alan Zimmerman of Stewartsville will be held at 10:00 a.m on Saturday, September at the Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville with burial following at Shambaugh-Cope Cemetery of Weatherby. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial Contributions to Martin & Joni Zimmerman Athletic Scholarship.
